Organic SESAME Oil
Product Description
Kapoor Kachri rhizome comes from Hedychium spicatum, an aromatic plant in the ginger family. The plant is native to hilly and forested regions, where it grows in cool, moist environments. The rhizome develops underground and stores the plant’s distinctive fragrance and natural compounds. Hedychium spicatum produces tall leafy stems and cone-shaped flower spikes with pale yellow blooms. The underground rhizomes are thick, knotted, and light brown in color. When dried, they release a warm, camphor-like aroma, which has made them valued in traditional botanical and aromatic preparations. Harvesting is done when the plant reaches full maturity. The soil is carefully loosened to lift the rhizomes without damage. After collection, the rhizomes are washed thoroughly, sliced into uniform pieces, and dried under shade or controlled low-temperature conditions. This method helps preserve aroma, color, and stability. Kapoor Kachri rhizomes contain naturally occurring essential oils, starches, and aromatic compounds. Traditionally, the rhizome is described as warming and fragrant in nature. Due to its concentrated aroma, it is typically used in measured quantities. Precautionary measures: Individual sensitivity may vary, and regular use should be guided by a qualified practitioner.
